  • What is Oolong Tea?

    Oolong Tea

You might be familiar with black tea (Assam tea or Earl grey tea) or jasmine green tea, Oolong tea is not something that you often find in bubble tea stores or cafes. Oolong tea is a wonderful choice for making a lot of different types of bubble tea such as fruit tea and milk tea.

    What is Oolong Tea?

Oolong tea is a semi-oxidized type of tea that can be more or less oxidised. It falls between green and black tea and can be closer in appearance and characteristics to either. The less oxidation will make oolong more similar to green tea, and more oxidation will move it closer to black tea. Oolong tea is special for its unique range of aromas - from the fruity, floral, buttery or even nutty note.
