    Snow Ice Recipe

     Equipment:
    • Molds or containers
    • Mixing bowl
    • Measurement jug
    • Wooden spoon
    • Scale

     Ingredients: 

    This recipe can make 12 blocks of snow ice (based on 200 ml/block)

    Ratio Snow ice powder: Water = 1:5

    • 400 g of Snow ice powder 
    • 2,000 ml of Water (800 ml of Hot water and 1,200 ml of cold water)

     Preparation:

    • Pour the hot water into the mixing bowl, add 400g of snow ice powder, and use the wooden spoon to stir the ingredients together until the mixture is completely combined. 
    • Add cold water to the mixing bowl to cool down the mixture.
    • Stir the mixture together and pour into the measurement jug.
    •  Pour the mixture into the mold or container that fits your snow ice machine.
    • Seal the mold with a lid and leave it at room temperature until it cools down.
    • Put the molds in the freezer and leave them in the freezer for at least 6 hours before serving.

     Serving up:

    • Snow ice can be served with different types of toppings and is also a great combination with bubble tea toppings such as tapioca pearls, popping boba, jelly, fresh fruits, and biscuits.
    • You can use jam, syrup, or sauce for extra flavour.

      Note:

    • Cooling down the snow ice liquid will increase the freezing speed of the snow ice block.
    • The temperature of the freezer should be lower than -7 C
