With its delicate aroma and clean finish, jasmine green tea provides a beautifully balanced foundation for fruity flavours.

🍹 Why This Tea Base Works So Well

The gentle floral notes of jasmine green tea naturally enhance the sweetness and brightness of fruit, without overwhelming it. When brewed correctly, it creates a light, crisp, and fragrant base that makes cold fruit teas taste incredibly refreshing – ideal for famous fruit tea for bubble tea.

    🕒 Preparation Overview

    • Preparation time: 8 minutes

    • Type: Cold tea base

    • Difficulty: Easy

    🍵 Equipment You’ll Need:

    • Pot

    • Strainer

    • Tea thermos (10L)

    • Timer

    🧂 Ingredients:

Ratio: 1 part tea to 50 parts water

     Preparation:
    1. Heat the Water
Heat 5 litres of water to 75°C in a large pot.

Tip: Avoid boiling water – too much heat can make the tea bitter and diminish its fragrance.

    2. Steep the Tea
Add 100g of Boba Buzz jasmine Flavoured Green Tea to the pot. Cover with a lid and steep for exactly 8 minutes.

    3. Strain and Transfer
Using a fine strainer, remove the tea leaves and pour the hot tea into a thermos.

    4. Cool It Down
Add 2.5kg of ice to the hot tea and stir well until the ice is completely melted and the tea is evenly chilled.

Rapid cooling locks in the jasmine aroma and creates a smoother taste.

    💡 Top Tips:

    • Mind the temperature: Always brew at 75°C. Too hot, and the tea may become bitter and lose its delicate aroma.

    • Brew fresh everyday: Jasmine green tea is best enjoyed fresh, especially when mixed with fruit.
